Old Cowtown Museum: This nationally recognized living history museum presents the history of Wichita and Sedgwick County, Kansas from 1865 through 1880.  The museum features over thirty exhibit areas.  The museum is open April through October plus one weekend in December from 10 am - 5 pm Monday through Saturday and 12:00-5:00 pm on Sunday.  For information about museum memberships, facility rentals and other activities, call (316) 264-0671.  Old Cowtown is located in the Museums on the River District, five minutes west of downtown at:
