Payment Under Protest: Appeal open to
taxpayers in protesting the amount of property taxes based on valuation of real estate
property. You may file a protest at the time you pay your taxes, by December 20th.
If your mortgage company pays your taxes directly, you may file your appeal with
the County Treasurer at any time after the tax bills have been sent out, but before
January 31st. ALL PAYMENTS UNDER PROTEST originate with the County Treasurer.
After you file the protest form with the Treasurer, the Appraisal's Office will schedule a

Pregnancy: "Healthy Start" is

Sedgwick
County Health Department at no fee. Home visits by outreach workers
assist women with visits after childbirth. Purpose of the visits is to provide support and
information. Pregnancy tests are also offered by the Community Health Department for
