Ballot Question

SHALL THE FOLLOWING BE ADOPTED?

Shall Unified School District No. 262, Sedgwick County, Kansas (Valley Center), issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $57,525,000, to pay the costs to: (i) construct, furnish and equip a new High School and related infrastructure improvements; (ii) construct and equip an addition and make renovations to the existing Abilene Elementary School; (iii) construct and equip an addition and make renovations to the existing West Elementary School; (iv) construct, furnish and equip additions and make renovations to the existing Wheatland Elementary School; (v) make renovations to the current Middle School; (vi) furnish, equip and make renovations to the current High School; (vii) construct new athletic facilities and make renovations to existing athletic facilities within the District; (viii) acquire a site, construct, furnish and equip a new transportation facility; (ix) construct, furnish and equip a new administrative facility and, if necessary, demolish the existing administrative facility; (x) install technology improvements District wide; (xi) construct, repair and replace various roofs and HVAC equipment throughout the District; and (xii) make all other necessary improvements appurtenant thereto; all pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 10-101 et seq.; K.S.A. 25-2018(f); K.S.A. 72-6761; and K.S.A. 75-2315 et seq.?

Advance Voting Options

Advance voting can be done by mail or in person. 

To vote by mail, click this Advance Voting Application link, complete the form and bring, mail or fax it to the Election Office at 510 N Main, Suite 101, Wichita KS 67216, fax 316-660-7125.  Ballots will be sent out beginning May 14 through June 2.

To vote in person, go to an Advance Voting location during the following days and times:

May 21 – 23, 8 AM – 5 PM May 27 – May 30, 8 AM – 5 PM June 2, 8 AM – 12 Noon	Sedgwick County Election Office 510 N Main, Suite 101, Wichita
May 29 – 30, 12 Noon – 7 PM May 31, 9 AM – 4 PM	First United Methodist Church, 560 N Park, Valley Center
