Historic Events
Emergencies and disasters have impacted Sedgwick County since 1874. Information obtained from these events was through the National Weather Service, Sedgwick County Emergency Management, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and various other public and private sources. Whenever possible, policies and procedures made to minimize or eliminate the effects of those emergencies and disasters are also identified.
