Fire Alarm or Fire Sprinkler Plan Review Submittal Process and Requirements

Whenever plans are submitted to the Sedgwick County Fire District for review, an Application for Plan Review is required to be completed. A minimum of three complete sets of drawing is required along with one specification manual if one has been written for the building project. Typically we required at least 10 working days to complete the process, but reserve the option for a longer completion time depending upon the complexity and size of the project being reviewed. If an Application for Plan Review is incomplete at the time it is submitted, the review of the plans will not be conducted until such time it has been received by the fire department. No plans will be released unless the required plan review fee has been paid.
