
South Central Kansas Regional Phonebook Project
The Metropolitan Medical Response System is working
on a project to put together a South Central Kansas
Region Emergency Response Phonebook. The phonebook will
be comprised of the following agencies in the South
Central Kansas Region:
- Animal Control
- Behavioral Health
- CERT
- Emergency Management
- EMS
- Fire Departments
- GIS
- Health Departments
- Hospitals
- Law Enforcement
- Local Government
- MRC
- Public Safety
- Public Works
- Unified School Districts
- Volunteer Organizations
- State and Federal Information
If you are the director or agency head for any of the
above mentioned types of agencies in the 19 county South
Central Kansas Region please complete the
Regional Phonebook
Information Request Form.
Sedgwick County Attends IEMC Training
Sedgwick County MMRS was selected to participate in
the Integrated Emergency Management Course (IEMC) from
more than 100 applications. IEMC is designed to
exercise the individual and organizational skills
required in responding to and recovering from a mass
casualty terrorism-related disaster. Sedgwick
County Officials attended this four and a half day
exercise located at FEMA's Noble Training Center in
Anniston, AL in April.

Neighborhood Distribution Center Interactive
Locator Map
Sedgwick County provides an easy way for
residents to locate their local Neighborhood
Distribution Center. Through the use of GIS
technology, residents can now enter their address and a
popup window will display the center designated for
their address along with a map to the location.
Mission
To assure high levels of community preparedness to a
weapons of mass destruction event. The focus of
the contract is improved "medical" response systems.
The intent is decreased morbidity and mortality and
increase survivability of residents, communities, and
the environment. Additionally, the resulting
systems and processes will be of benefit for natural
occurring disasters and public health emergencies.
