IMA volunteers spent the week with young adults at the Sedgwick County Juvenile Detention Center making comfort kits. The comfort kits were filled with stuffed animals, a birth certificate and corresponding book for the animals. These kits will be placed in patrol vehicles for law enforcement to distribute to children in a time of crisis. During this four day event roughly 100 comfort kits were assembled. This event was funded through a United Way grant and took place Tuesday, June 19 through Friday, June 22.
