Archived: County Leaders break ground on new EMS Post

 (Sedgwick County, Kan.) – This morning, Sedgwick County leaders broke ground on Emergency Medical Service Post 15, located at 3575 N. Webb Rd.

 EMS Post 15 will be a 2,998 square foot, pre-engineered steel structure with double drive-thru bays. It will be staffed 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and will have the capacity to house two 24/7 crews and ambulances if needed in the future. Sedgwick County EMS responds to an average of 175 requests for service per day and more than 62,000 responses per year.

 MultiCon, Inc. and Krehbiel Architecture were selected to be the general contractor and architect for this $799,000 project. Upon completion, EMS Post 15 will be the 16th EMS post in Sedgwick County.
