(Sedgwick County, Kan.) –With more than 200,000 registered voters in the USD 259 Wichita Public School District, the bond election on Feb. 25, 2025, affects approximately 60% of Sedgwick County residents. With that in mind, Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater will hold a press conference Monday, Feb. 3, at 10 a.m. at the Election Office, 510 N. Main, Suite 101 in Wichita. She will discuss these important dates:

·       Feb. 4 – Last day to register to vote in the USD 259 Bond Election

·       Feb. 5 – Advance ballots begin mailing

·       Feb. 18 – Advance in-person voting begins at Election Office
                Last day to request advance ballot to be mailed

·       Feb. 20 – Advance in-person satellite voting centers open

·       Feb. 25 – Election Day, with new polling site hours: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
