COMCARE’s children’s mental health programs are moving to a new location beginning May 2.

COMCARE, the licensed community mental health center for Sedgwick County, will rent 15,000 square feet of newly renovated space in the former Rainbows building in downtown Wichita, 350 S. Broadway. The program will also occupy an adjacent one-story building at 329 S. Topeka.

“The new location will allow the children’s programs to be more centrally located and have access to a fenced playground and public transportation,” said COMCARE Executive Director Marilyn Cook.

The children’s programs have been located at 7701 E. Kellogg since August 2000.
