(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – Sedgwick County Appraiser, Mark Clark, will present his annual report on property valuations at the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) meeting Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025, at 9 a.m. Valuations increased this year, and Clark will explain why. He will also be available for media interviews immediately after the BoCC meeting, outside the lower-level auditorium in the Ruffin Building at 100 N. Broadway.
On March 1, 2025, the Appraiser’s Office will mail out 204,350 valuation notices for real property with a change in value or classification. This accounts for 87% of all real property parcels in Sedgwick County. Instructions on how to appeal a valuation will be on the back of the notices.
Owners of property that did NOT change in value or classification will not receive a notice in the mail. All valuations will be posted online on the Appraiser’s Office website at www.sedgwickcounty.org, along with more information on property valuations and the appeal process.
