Sedgwick County Commissioners to Hold Special Meeting Dec. 16, 2024

(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – The Sedgwick County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) has scheduled a special meeting Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, at 9 a.m. to receive a final report from Jensen Hughes on last year’s fatal Brookhollow apartment fire. The public safety-consulting firm has finished its independent audit of the fire and emergency communications response on Oct. 13, 2023, and will present its post-incident analysis and recommendations for systems improvements.

 The meeting will be held in the lower-level auditorium of the Ruffin Building, 100 N. Broadway, and will broadcast live on the Sedgwick County YouTube and Facebook pages.
