Sedgwick County Updates

  • On May 19, the Sedgwick County Board of County Commissioners voted to amend the current resolution and strongly recommended individuals get the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as they are eligible, consistent with CDC recommendations. The adopted resolution also encourages businesses and organizations to determine, in their best judgment, whether to require individuals to wear masks or other face coverings and/or to social distance from one another while visiting a business.
  • The National Council on Aging (NCOA) is partnering with Lyft to provide access to reliable, affordable transportation to older adults who need a ride to the get to their COVID-19 vaccine
