Sedgwick County Emergency Management will be working on upgrading software for all the outdoor warning sirens in Sedgwick County this week, Monday, July 30 through Friday, August 3 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This upgrade includes sounding and testing each siren to make sure that it is properly functioning. While performing this work, sirens may sound during inclement weather. Sedgwick County residents should tune into their local media station or weather radio to make sure there is no threat in their area, before calling 911.
