(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – In anticipation of high voter turnout for the 2024 General Election, the Sedgwick County Election Office is opening three early voting centers two full weeks before Election Day, Nov. 5. Registered voters who live anywhere in Sedgwick County can cast a ballot at the following locations, starting Monday, Oct. 21:

  • Sedgwick County Extension Office, 7001 W. 21st
    • Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. until Nov. 1, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2.
  • Reformation Lutheran Church, 7601 E. 13th
    • Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. until Nov. 1, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2.
  • Sedgwick County Election Office
    • Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. until Nov. 1, 8 a.m.-Noon on Nov. 4.

Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater will discuss early voting at a press conference Monday, Oct. 21, at the Extension Office, when polls open at 10 a.m.

“Voting early has never been easier for Sedgwick County residents,” said Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater. “They now have more time and places to cast a ballot in person and avoid possible long lines at the polls on Election Day.” 

Seventeen more early voting centers will open Tuesday, Oct. 29. These satellite locations will open Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. until Nov. 1, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Registered voters can also request an advance by mail ballot. Applications are available at the Election Office, by calling (316) 660-7100 or downloading it here. Voters who want the ballot mailed to them must request it by 5 p.m. on Oct. 29.
