North Riverside Polling Location Changes for 2024 Primary Election

(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – Sedgwick County Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater has notified approximately 4,300 voters by mail that their assigned polling location for the 2024 Primary Election has changed due to an emergency. Residents in precincts 609 and 610, who were assigned to vote at Woodland United Methodist Church, 1100 W. 15th St. N., now need to vote at the North High School gymnasium, 1437 N Rochester St., for the Aug. 6 election ONLY. It is anticipated the HVAC system at Woodland United Methodist Church should be fixed in time for voters to cast ballots at this location for the Nov. 6 General Election.

All voters affected by this polling location change will receive a letter in the mail from the Sedgwick County Election Office with their new, assigned polling site in bold lettering.

Early in-person voting is available today and tomorrow at the Sedgwick County Election Office, 510 N. Main St., #101, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Aug. 5 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Satellite voting centers are now open until Aug. 2, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Aug. 3, from 9 a.m.–1 p.m.  For a list of early voting locations, visit the Sedgwick County Election Office website at https://www.sedgwickcounty.org/elections/registration-and-voting/early-voting/.
