(Sedgwick County, Kan.) – Sedgwick County Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater has notified approximately 4,100 voters by mail that their assigned polling location for the 2024 Primary Election has changed. Residents in precincts 105, 130 and 339, who were assigned to vote at Heart of Christ Church, 856 S. Green St., now need to vote at Linwood Recreation Center, 1901 S Kansas St., for the Aug. 6 election ONLY. It is anticipated the HVAC system at Heart of Christ should be fixed in time for voters to cast ballots at this location for the Nov. 6 General Election.

All voters affected by this polling location change will receive a letter in the mail from the Sedgwick County Election Office with their new, assigned polling site in bold lettering

Early in-person voting begins today through Aug. 2 at the Sedgwick County Election Office, 510 N. Main St., #101, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Aug. 5 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Satellite voting centers will be open July 30–Aug. 2, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Aug. 3, from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. For a list of early voting locations, visit the Sedgwick County Election Office website at https://www.sedgwickcounty.org/elections/registration-and-voting/early-voting/.
