District Information

The Interactive Maps link can be used to view district location. Printable maps are in the process of being updated due to redistricting.

Sedgwick County is divided into 429 election districts, excluding offices that are voted on throughout the county. The districts are divided into twelve categories. Districts in different categories overlap each other; districts within a particular category do not overlap. Most Sedgwick County voters can vote on 9 - 10 election district categories, but not all categories are up for election at the same time.

A voter’s address determines which combination of districts will be on the ballot for that voter – called a “ballot style”. With the large number of district combinations available, literally hundreds of ballot styles are used to ensure every voter can vote on all districts assigned to the voter’s address.

Below is a chart of the districts in Sedgwick County. Districts with an asterisk (*) are shared with neighboring counties.
