Why has the Sedgwick County Register of Deeds initiated the Veteran & Military Discount Card Program?
The Veteran & Military Discount Card Program aims to assist veterans by providing opportunities to save money at local establishments as a gesture of appreciation for their service.
Who qualifies for the program?
All active-duty military personnel, guard/reservists and veterans with an honorable or general discharge. are eligible. Verification of identification will be checked prior to enrollment.
How can you obtain the discount card? To obtain the discount card, visit the Sedgwick County Register of Deeds Office located on the first floor of the Ruffin Building downtown at 100 N Broadway St. 105, during regular business hours. Alternatively, visit the Sedgwick County Tag Office at 5620 E Kellogg (closed for lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.). Veterans should bring their DD-214 or another form of proof of service. If your DD-214 has been previously recorded with our office, certified copies can be retrieved at no charge. Upon enrollment, you will receive your discount card with a photo on the same day.
