At approximately 10:17 P.M. on December 8, 2022, a Cadillac SUV and Kawasaki motorcycle collided at the intersection of Rock Road and 39th Street South. The driver of the Kawasaki was northbound on Rock Road when he was struck by the Cadillac that was southbound on Rock Road turning east onto 39th Street South.
The 18-year-old male driver of the Kawasaki motorcycle, Brandon Koziar of Derby, died at the scene.
The 52-year-old female driver of the Cadillac SUV was uninjured. She resides in Derby.
The circumstances of the collision are under investigation.
