At approximately 9:09 A.M. on January 7, 2022, a Toyota Camry and Ford Focus collided at the intersection of 295th Street West and 21st Street North. The driver of the Toyota Camry was northbound on 295th Street West and entered the intersection without yielding to the crossing traffic on 21st Street North. The eastbound Ford Focus struck the Camry on the driver’s door.

 

The 36-year-old male driver of the Toyota Camry died at the scene.

 

The 38-year-old female passenger of the Toyota Camry was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

 

The 19-year-old male driver of the Ford Focus was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

 

Stop signs are posted at the intersection for north and southbound traffic on 295th Street West.

 

The circumstances of the collisions are under investigation.
