UPDATE 11.27.2019

Two men from Wichita, Kansas were arrested and booked in the Sedgwick County Adult Detention Facility in relation to the homicide of Christian Hernandez. 

 

Thomas Ray Armstrong, a 33 year old white male, was booked for Aggravated Kidnapping Aggravated Robbery, and Murder in the First Degree. 

Efrain Daniel Arroyo II, a 30 year old Hispanic male, was booked for Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Robbery, and Murder in the First Degree. 

Sedgwick County Sheriff Deputies located the white sedan. We appreciate the media and public’s assistance with helping us locate the vehicle.

 

The death of Hernandez is still being investigated. We do not have any additional information to release to the public or media at this time. 

 

Original Release - Around 7:30 a.m., on Wednesday, November 27th, 2019, a passerby found a Hispanic man lying next to the road in the 12000 block of east 45th Street North. Responding deputies noticed a gunshot to the man’s body and he was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

 

The victim was identified as Christian Osvaldo Hernandez, a 30 year old Hispanic male, from Wichita, Kansas. 

 

The investigation is being worked as a Homicide. 

 

Around 7:30 a.m., on Wednesday, November 27th, 2019, a passerby found a Hispanic man lying next to the road near the train tracks in the 12000 block of east 45th Street North. Responding deputies noticed a gunshot to the man’s body and he was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

 

The Hispanic male was approximately 25 to 30 years old. 

 

The investigation is being worked as a Homicide. These are all of the details I have at this time.
