Nola Foulston, District Attorney for the Eighteenth Judicial District of Kansas, has created this website to provide information regarding the criminal justice system and courts in this jurisdiction as well as general information to the viewing public.

The District Attorney prosecutes violations of the criminal laws of Kansas; institutes proceedings to protect abused and neglected children; prosecutes juvenile offenders; secures care and treatment in alcohol, drug and mental commitment cases; appears before the appellate courts of Kansas, the federal courts and the United States Supreme Court regarding civil and criminal appeals; enforces the Kansas Consumer Protection Act and other statutory civil proceedings as provided by law; and provides services to victims and witnesses to ensure their fair treatment in the criminal justice system.

Ann Swegle, Deputy District Attorney for the 18th Judicial District has been elected President of the Kansas County and District Attorneys Association (KCDAA).  Ms. Swegle is the Deputy of Administration and counsel to the District Attorney and a litigation attorney. She is an active member of law enforcement and community based organizations, including the local Criminal Justice Coordinating Counsel, Community Corrections Advisory Board, and the Sedgwick County Regional Forensic Science Center Advisory Board. She has served on the KCDAA Board in many capacities, including most recently its’ vice-president and a member of the Legislative Committee.

Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office now offers "real time" custody and booking information for the public to view on all inmates held in the custody of the sheriff via internet access.  The inmate's location, charges, bond amounts and visitation schedule are all available through a simple name search.

The inmate search application can be accessed by anyone using a computer with internet capability.  Simply click here to go to our helpful links for "Sedgwick County Jail Inmate Info."  After connecting to the Sheriff's office website, go to "online searches, current jail inmate search."
